Oni is a 13 month old fawn, silver, and white Japanese Akita. He is owned by Lee Ann and James Appleyard of Rawdon, West Yorkshire, UK. He's trained and handled by Lee.

Oni was bred by Mary and Stuart Raby of Kumatomo Kennels of Keighley, West Yorkshire, UK.

Oni's sire is Magnificant Duke at Kumatomo (Zak), and his dam is Princess Sakura at Kumatomo (Sakura). Zak is a descendant of the world-renowned Am./Eng. Ch. Tamarlane's Veni Vidi Vici.

Oni has already been shown at the 2002 Otley Exemption Show where he took two 3rd places for Utility and Utility Puppy. Not bad for a first attempt!
